As someone who has also struggled, I provide a safe and comfortable environment where you can get the help you want and need. I welcome individuals (age 13 and up), couples, and families who want to address anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relationship issues, and life transitions.
I earned my Masters degree in Social Work from the University of North Carolina Charlotte and earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland. I have advanced training in anxiety, children/adult children of divorce, grief and loss, and trauma. I am licensed in the state of North Carolina.
As an associate with one of the most respected group psychotherapy practices in the Charlotte metropolitan area, I can refer to my colleagues on-site for nearly all diagnoses and medication management. My office is conveniently located in the SouthPark area of Charlotte.
Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience at some point in our lives. Through counseling and treatment, I am able to help you have motivation, perspective, and joy in your life.
Many individuals can experience symptoms associated with painful and traumatic circumstances, as well as the loss of a loved one. Anxiety, fear, and hopelessness are a few emotions that can linger. I can help you overcome these symptoms and guide you through the process of grief and healing.
Relationship counseling can be beneficial to couples who are looking to strengthen their emotional connection, in all stages of their relationship. Therapy sessions are held with both partners, alone and together, and are a supportive place to discuss issues and solutions to better strengthen your relationship.
